2024 Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of the Society for Professional Data Managers will take place online on Thursday 29th February 2024, at 15:30 UK time.
All members of the society are encouraged to attend. Meeting papers and instructions on how to register to attend the meeting are available within the Members’ Area.
SPDM Online 2023 - Call for Presentations
We invite you to submit abstracts for inclusion in the Society’s annual conference, on the theme of “Energising Data Management – Disruptive or Newly Native?”
Papers should be submitted for consideration by Friday, 13th October. More details and instructions on how to submit your paper are available here - we encourage all members of the Society to take part in, and offer papers for presentation at the conference.
ECIM 2023 Presentations
Video recordings of selected plenary presentations from the ECIM 2023 Conference in Haugesund are now available to view from within the Members’ Area.
The videos cover topics such as ESG data management, Equinor’s direction for information technology, enabling large language models for use in AkerBP, developing green energy projects, and the ECIM 23 panel debate on “Disruption is the new normal”, chaired by David Holmes of Dell.
This adds to the 70+ videos available from prior events, including ECIM 2022, and the SPDM Online and Mid-Year Conferences.

A new Website for the SPDM!
The Society’s new website is now launching. Featuring an exclusive Members’ Area and an archive of over 50 conference recordings from ECIM and SPDM events, we hope the new website and the platform it runs on will provide a solid foundation for the Society and its members for years to come.
